The article, “How to Read like a Writer” by Mike Bunn talked about how exactly people can read like writers, and also write like readers. There are different things you can do to make this happen, for example instead of reading to learn content, read to gain more information about how something can be written. When reading something, think about how you would have changed it and what you would do differently. After reading a little, stop and think about how you would have changed it. I learned a lot and it is a great idea to read like a writer. Subconsciously I feel like I have done this for a while, because whenever I saw something grammatical that I didn’t understand I would stop and think about how it would be used in other words and context. It was very interesting to see how I had been doing it partially for a lot of my life.
